Jean Gole

AUArts Grad Show Profile

VCD – Character Design & Illustration

Jean is an illustrator who was raised in rural Treaty 7 Territory. He almost always works in mixed media, utilizing the tactility of traditional media such as acrylics, inks, and pencil crayon, combined with the clean finish which digital software, such as the adobe suite, can offer. The works are love letters to colour, transparencies, and texture. His main inspirations are nature, mythologies, horror, and vintage aesthetics.
