Lloyd Templeton is a traditional illustrator based in Calgary Alberta, Canada. Lloyd is a storyteller at heart, with a special love for making comics and graphic novels, and an interest in storyboarding, product and editorial illustration, and fine art.

As a teenager, Lloyd combined oral storytelling, original watercolour artwork, and archival research to win the Lieutentant Governors SPIRIT of Vimy Award for achievement in recognizing Canada’s contribution to victory in the First World War. Seeing his work move people set Lloyd on a path toward a creative career. He is graduating from Alberta University of the Arts with a Bachelors of Design Degree in 2023, President's Honour Roll, and works with everything from pen and ink to oil paint.
