I examine the narratives and personalities that emerge from a single object or thing, and what it means to put it in dialogue with other objects. I explore this by creating uniquely shaped wall-hanging works that incorporate wood, textiles, ceramics and personal belongings. I enjoy taking objects out of their normal context or function and using them in unpredictable and provisional ways, reinterpreting familiar objects in order to create ambiguity and open up new areas of inquiry. My process involves working with the wall to explore the interaction of objects through instillation and what makes the work whole and part of a space.
