My mixed media art practice overlaps poetic compositions with handmade sculptures, animation, and performance. I toy with notions of what is natural or real by distorting familiar objects into queer gestures, unsettling and sensual movement, offering ways of looking that slip around on your tongue, misplace language, tooling with questions of connectivity and aliveness.

Tender Tendrils, 2020 Hand drawn animation (ink) :: a thirsty plant beside a sink knocks at the tap to ask for a drink (can you feel me?) *This was the last animation I did in Winter semester 2020, before we were all sent home to quarantine and finish our classes remotely. It was originally installed in a big dark room, projected brightly on a big wall - which also reflected the moving image onto the shiny black floor
