VCD – Advertising & Graphic Design

I'm an advertising major with big love for the concept phase. While at AUArts I also provided concept work for Trent Martens at Brigade, branding and advertising for custom furniture builders Studio 289, album artwork, photography and motion graphics for award winning country artist Bobby Wills, and co-produced 2 seasons of the Inside the Glass podcast for Cult Collective where I provided podcast editing, story arc development, music composition and recording.

Student Work - Advertising

Student Work - EnTrance Magazine

The assignment was to build a magazine from scratch. With the exception of rebuilt flight maps used in the ToC, Letter From the Editor and the Entrance Magazine advertisement, all content was original including photography, advertisements, motion graphics, written articles, etc. The theme of the magazine is migration and examines the ways that we are all travellers through time, space, thought and action. It focuses primarily on the feelings of living in a place other than one’s birthplace while investigating the ways that we can be transported – by planes, trains, music, drugs, literature, photography, etc.

Bobby Wills Album Artwork

Bobby Wills is a Canadian Country artist and winner of the Canadian Country Music Association's Rising Star award. I've created album art for his past two albums and their accompanying singles. I have also designed set pieces for his upcoming Youtube interview show in the form of concert posters.

Studio 289 Custom Furniture

Studio 289 is a custom furniture business operating out of Toronto, Ontario. I designed their logo and some advertisements for online. The logo was based on placing Studio 289 in the same space as its competitors while differentiating it slightly with a vibe that is as fun and unique as the pieces that they create.
